Founded in 1973 by W.B. "Hap" Carson in Plant City, Florida. Today led by his son David Carson — still building products in the same Polk-and-Hillsborough county dirt that started it all.
Our story
A family business with a Plant City address.
W.B. "Hap" Carson founded Chemical Dynamics in 1973 with a simple proposition: build crop nutrient products that actually worked for the citrus and vegetable growers around Plant City. Fifty years later, that proposition hasn't changed — we just serve more crops, more states, and more generations of growers.
Today, David Carson leads the company as its third-generation president. The Plant City Industrial Park facility produces our complete brand portfolio — SOAR, Dyna-Flo, Dyna Gold, CEIA, Verdant, Flite, and Heron — plus a full slate of private-label and custom-formulation work for distributor partners across the Southeast.
Both Hap and David have served as Chairman of the Florida Fertilizer and Agrichemical Association (FFAA). Our long-standing partnership with the University of Florida College of Agricultural and Life Sciences keeps our formulations grounded in the same research our customers rely on.
